Judo guys do this every class, and it is the foundation of our escapes.

Begin laying on your back. Bring one foot as close to your buttocks as possible. Using the ball of the foot, lift your buttocks into the air. This creates a diagonal line much like forward roll, from hip to opposite shoulder. The opposite shoulder is pinned to the floor, and provides a point for your body to rotate on.

Driving with the bent leg, tuck your chin to your chest and reach for your toes on the straight leg.

Roll back to flat. Repeat process using other leg.
